Introduction to Rock Climbing
This class will teach the student the basics of outdoor rock climbing and the proper use and maintenance of different types of climbing gear. Upon completion of this classes the student will be able to tie a variety of different knots associated with beginning rock climbing, be competent in top rope belaying, and have an understanding of the different types and uses of harnesses, carabiners, belay devices and climbing shoes.
